Finishing Options

Not sure which finishing option is best for you?

We have many different types of finishing equipment, all perfect for short run use. We also offer a finish only service so even if your document is already printed, we can finish it!

Our experienced team will discuss your options and advise the best finishing for your style and budget. Services include:

Scoring and Creasing

Applying a crease to the sheet will allow it to be folded easier and is perfect for menus, greeting cards and folders.

Guillotining

This is used to trim sheets to smaller sizes to achieve a professional uniform finish.

Collating

The gathering of printed material in a pre-determined sequence. Mainly used on short run books and forms.

Calendar hand finishing

Thumbhole cut, hook insertion and wiro binding to ensure your calendar can be used correctly.

Wiro binding

Giving your document a professional feel this binding is available in various sizes.

Perfect binding

Perfect binding is the square spine that you see on magazines and paper back books. This type of binding is perfect for any publication, from a single report to a run of 300 books. Using Polyurethane Reactive adhesive, the pages are glued together at the spine of the book. Our top of the range equipment provides options for a range of spine lengths and thickness.

Metallic Printing

To give your printing the wow factor we have a wonderful digital machine which prints on to 330gsm metallic silver card, offering amazing shiny prints. Much cheaper than foiling, this is perfect for invitations, flyers and dance tickets.

We also offer round corner cutting, hole punching, stapling and much more…
